  • Acceptance : All orders and transactions between Handmade Cards U Can Treasure and the customer are accepted on these conditions of sale only.  It is the responsibility of the customer to read such conditions before entering upon a transaction.
     
  • What size are your cards?
  • The card sizes vary, but the size of a particular card is usually shown in the description given.
  • Do you cards have inserts?
  • All my cards are unique, some card have an insert some don't. most cards are blank inside, some may have a message that matches the occasion inside. If you require a special insert we can either make a bespoke card for you, or some ready made cards can be personalized to requirements. Please contact us and I will try my best to meet your needs. Cards with personalized inserts and unique handmade cards with personalized inserts take longer to produce than the ready made cards on the website. So please allow for that when ordering a card. Delivery times are longer for personalized cards.
  •  Is it safe to shop with you?
  • Yes all orders are processed using the secure Pay Pal service.
  •  What is your privacy policy? 
  •  Details are collected purely to enable your order to be processed; they will not be passed on to anyone.
  •  Are all of your cards handmade?  
  • Yes. I personally design and create all of the cards shown on this website.
  • Can you personalize my card?
  • Yes, most of my handmade cards can be personalized. Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information. Weather a ready made card can be personalized depends on the card you choose and what personalization is needed. These cards take more time so delivery time is longer than a ready made card, so please allow for this when placing your order. If the card you want cant be personalized to your requirements. I can make a bespoke card designed for your needs. These cards also take time to make so please allow for that when commissioning a bespoke card. If you have particular requirements I may have to source special materials for your unique bespoke card.  Please contact me to discuss what you would like, and I will do my best to meet your needs.
  • Can you send my card directly for me?
  • Yes. If needed, I can personally write or add an insert to your card for you. Then it will be sent via first class post or Airmail to the person receiving the card. Details of this need to be given when an order for a card is placed.  A delivery address should be given along with instructions for the card to be written or printed. Specific details of the message you want inside should also be given.
  •   How are the cards dispatched?
  • All my cards are carefully packaged and sent via first class post or Airmail. If you require special delivery it can be arranged by request before an order is placed. Extra postage will be charged.  All cards come in card bags or boxes. They are posted in board or padded envelope therefore I have done my up most to ensure goods reach customers in good condition.  In the interests of being environmental friendly I do try to use recycled packaging, but this in no way effects the quality of my cards.  
  •  How can I contact you?
  •  You can contact me using my contact us page.
  •   How quickly can you process my order?
  • Most orders for ready made cards from the website are processed and dispatched within 24 hours after receipt of payment, however please allow 2 to 3 working days for your order to be processed.  I can't be held responsible for the Royal Mail's delivery times after an order has been dispatched. If you do need a card in a rush please contact me I will be happy to arrange special or recorded delivery at the added extra postage costs. Unique and bespoke personalized orders take longer to dispatch than the ready made cards. This is because all cards are made or personalized by hand by me.  A delivery date is agreed with the customer when an order for a bespoke or personalized card is accepted, this is because I need to be sure I can fulfill theses orders in the time given as all the cards are made by myself by hand.
  •  What is your refund policy?
  • If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of your greeting card please return it to me in its original condition at your own expense within 14 days of purchase. A refund of the purchase price will then be given minus the postage cost paid. Please contact me for an address to send it to. Refunds will not be given until the goods have been received in the original condition they were dispatched, If they are damaged in anyway a refund will not be given. I would like to know the reason so I can resolve any issues and make sure it does not happen again. I want customers to be happy with their purchases. I am sorry but I do not give refunds on bespoke, personalized or bulk commissions, this is because they are personalized to an individual’s needs and it is my normal practice to make a sample for bulk orders to be accepted by the customer before I make the whole of the order.
  • I can not be held responsible for goods lost or damaged by Royal Mail.  Refunds maybe given on a discretionary basis. If goods are received, and have been damaged in transit please contact me within 48 hrs of receiving it.  A decision will be made if a refund is going to be given depending on the circumstances. If I am not contacted within this time a refund will not be given.
  • If goods are not received after they have been dispatched please allow 7 working days in the UK before contacting me. Over seas customers please allow at least 14 working days before contacting me. Royal Mail will be contacted before a refund is given I alway get proof of postage for an order when it is dispatched.
  • Replacement products are not provided because most products are unique creations.
  • Do you Post to outside the UK?I
    Yes I will, but extra postage charges apply. I can only accept international orders via Pay Pal.
      

  • Do you accept cheques or postal orders?
  • Yes, I do, contact me for an address to send them to. The Goods will only be sent when the payment has been received and cleared.  Please allow extra time for delivery if using this payment method.
  • Bulk orders
  • Bulk orders are welcome; I do require a 50% deposit on these orders as I may have to source special materials to make a large amount of one design. The deposit is none refundable if the order is canceled before delivery.  Before I accept a bulk order I need to discuss with the customer exactly what their requirements are regarding the design and the quantity needed. I also need to discuss the timescale an order maybe needed by. This is because all my cards are handmade by me. I also may need time to order the materials to meet the specific requirements of a customer. I will only accept a commissioned bulk order if I can meet a customer requirements. A price and a delivery date are agreed with a customer in writing before an order is accepted. I can not be held responsible for any delays on an order researching a customer after it has been dispatched on the agreed date.  Most of the cards that I have on the site are unique one off' cards. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.  Please refer to the services page for more details. I do not give refunds on these orders.
  •  Images 
  • Handmade Cards U can Treasure does not accept responsibility for the quality of images sent to us, "the higher the quality of the image the better the quality of the print".
  • Errors
  •  Handmade Cards U can Treasure does not accept responsibility for customer input or spelling mistakes on orders.
  •  
    Liability
  • Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by negligence on behalf of Handmade Cards U can Treasure, Handmade Cards U can Treasure will not be liable to the Customer by reason of any representation, implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the conditions for any consequential loss or damage (whether for loss or profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for consequential compensation whatsoever which arise out of, or in connection with the supply of the goods or their use or resale by the customer.

    Website Liability
  • Whilst Handmade Cards U can Treasure endeavors to keep the website and emails free from viruses, trojans, worms and any other similar such ailments, shall not be liable to the customer or site visits for any destructive results.

    Force Majeure
  •  Handmade Cards U can Treasure shall not be liable to the Customer or be deemed to be in breach of the contract of sale for any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of Handmade Cards U can Treasure obligations in relation to the goods if the delay or failure was due to any reason beyond Handmade Cards U can Treasure reasonable control.
